In 1994 the American Association of Notaries began as a membership organization for Texas notaries public. The association quickly became known as a full-service company, assisting notaries with the application, appointment, and bonding processes, and offering a wide range of quality notary seals, supplies, and products.
Within just a few years, the association began its expansion into other states with its ultimate goal being to service notaries nationwide and to maintain a strong presence in the nationís notary industry. The association also represents it membership by advocating for stronger notary laws and by teaching established standards of sound notary practice.
